A SEAMAN'S DEATH

■•'■'" _•-■•: AUCKLAND, This Day. Patrick Gunn, a seaman on the steamer, Koromiko, fell from the wharf last night,';and when rescued life was extinct. A gash o ( n the head indicated that he had been severely injured in falling. He was 63 age, ..anil his.wifo and family reside at Wellington. Patrick Ryan, who dived to rescue Gunn, was assisted'back to the wharf nnd admitted to the hospital suffering from an injury to his ribs.
