STORMING THE STRONGHOLD
NEW YORK, 26th May,
'A Pekin message states $iat the Chinese Government has decided to storm the* bandits' stronghold in South Shantung, despite the outlaws' renewed threats to slay the foreigners if the troops are not withdrawn. Chinese aeroplanes have - reconnoitred the mountain fastness, devising a plan of attack. Meantime the captives have been warned to prepare for the worst.
