St. Patrick's ' Cathedral authorities announced that owing/to the old parish rule permitting the display only of the Anwican flag in the Cathedral, thq Union Jack will not be permitted to be carried by the British veterans, who must not be in uniform, during the American Memorial Day celebrations in Cathedral on Sunday. It is understood the Irish Agitators threatened a serious riot if the Union Jack were displayed in the Cathedral.
