Wireless telephonic messages transmitted from American stations on 15th March were heard with perfect ease at Paris stations. The wave length used was 400 metres. Transmission began at five minutes past one in the morning, and lasted a little more than an hour. The signals were at one time so distinct that the private conversations- of the American, operators could b« hoard.
