PALMERSTON N., 11th May. In the Supreme Court to-day the case in which Anne B. V. Florence sued W. A. J. Hall for £1000 for alleged breach of jromise of marriage was continued. The defendant, in evidence, admitted that after breaking with plaintiff he met his present wife the day after Mrs. Florence left and proposed the same day. Other evidence for the defence was called to show that plaintiff had declared that she never intended to marry the defendant.
