APPEAL TO HOUSE OF LORDS,

LONDON, 10th May. The Attorney-General has appealed to the House of Lords against the Appeal Court's decision in the case of Art O'Brien. He declared that the matter is urgent, and asked for an early hearing. Lord Birkenhead said that as the issue involved the gravest public consequences, the case would be taken on. Monday, and sittings would be held day by day till the matter is concluded.
