SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

The efforts of hostess and performers were fully appreciated by the audience of seafarers at the Sailors' Friend Society last evening, when Miss M. E. Crow presented a popular programme. The performers were Mesdames Cane and Mervyn, Misses E. Crow, E. Stokes, Golding, Napier, and Messrs. H. Crow, Henry. Currie. Allsop. Jones, Middleton, and Allen. Misses Napier and Golding were at the piano. The competitions filled an important place in the programme. The prizes came from Mrs. Flanagan andi Lambton quay, and went to the Mahia, Hurunui. Rotorua, and Tremere.
