WESTMINSTER GLEE SINGERS.

Prior to their early departure for Australia, Mr. Edward Branscombe's Westminster Glee Singers will give three farewell concerts, each entirely different, at the Town Hall, commencing tomorrow night. Very remarkable success has attended the company's lengthy tour of New Zealand, the centres particularly being most demonstrative. Ten concerts were given at Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin, the final concert at each place being marked by a crowded house and a phenomenal farewell ovation. At the conclusion of the Wellington season next Tuesday, the 'company's record will reach well over 100 consecutive concerts, which is a sufficient testimony to their universal popularity. The programme to-morrow will be found to appeal to all musical tastes, embracing as it will rare and diversified operatic / selections from "Faust," "Carmen," "Romeo and Juliet,'" "Mefistofele," "Tales of Hoffman," Gounoud's "Serenade,',' "Believe Me of all those Endearing Young Charms," "The Sands o' Dee," "The Last Rose" of Summer,". "The Bluebells of Scotland," "The Bells of St. Michael's Tower," a selected anthem, a Christmas carol, and a series of humorous trios and quartettes. Children up to the age of sixteen will be admitted for halfprice to all parts of the auditorium. The box plans are at The Bristol, and. day sales are obtainable at the Blue Bird Confectionery.
