KELBURN ROADS

10 THB EDITOa.

Sir, —A few months ago Upland road, Kelburn, was quite a good road, but like the majority of our urban roads, it has been neglected, and is now fa«t developing into a series of pot holes. To put it in order now would be quite a simple matter, but if repairs are delayed for any further length of time it will be an expensive affair for tho ratepayers. Between Glasgow street and the Viaduct it is getting so "bad now that pedestrians are forced to take to the footpath, which may be a good thing as far as drivers of vehicles are concerned, but quite a painful .performance for most pedestrians. A decent footpath is long overdue.—l am, etc., i „,lU WATCHMAN. 1 nth Mur.
