PARAMOUNT AND ARTCRAFT.

"The Fast Mail," in which Charles Jones,' the famous cowboy rider, ia the leading character, will be shown for the last time to-day at the Paramount and) Artcraft' Theatres. He in supported by Eileen Percy, James Martin, William Steele, Adolph Menjou, and Harry Dunkinson. The plot is wound round the blowing up of a ferry steamer, a horse race over big fences, a thrilling forest fire, and 1 a jump from a railway express in motion. Barbara Bedford plays the leading role in " Winning with Wits,"- which is the supporting picture. The remaining pictures are excellent, and include a comedy_ and News Special. Suitable music, in keeping with the programme, is played at both theatres,

William Farnum plays the leading role in "Brass Commandments," which opens at the Paramount and Artcraft Theatres to-morrow. Wanda Hawley plays opposite the star, and a number of notable players are included in the cast. The story is a dramatic effort which keeps its interest to the finish. The romantic side has not been neglected, and the climax is one of the best seen for some time. The second string features Shirley Mason in "Pawn Ticket 210." The story deals with a girl who was left by her mother at a pawnshop and becomes the adopted daughter of the pawnbroker. The supporting films are good, and the Ambassador Jazz Band will play a number of selections, including "The Flirt" fox trot.
