The principal attraction on the new bill at the Strand Theatre to-day is the United Artists superlative racing drama,, " Garrison's. Finish,' 1 featuring Jackl Pickford. The story has to dp with.) Billy Garrison, a jockey, whose successes and failures on tne race-track form tha crux of the intensely interesting plot. A*\ played by Mr. Pickford, the title role isl most winning, and in the several final love scenes he has with Madge Bellamy,/ his leading lady, he displays an admir-l-able ability as a romantic actor of realfinesse. T*he supporting feature, " Thaj Song of Life," is a gripping story star-i ring Grace Daimond. The picture is on* of special interest to women, and the ploft builds logically up to a strong climax., which is set off by interior scenes and I outdoor locations that keep one in tha atmosphere of the story.
