LONDON MONEY FOR GERMANS
"HOW FAR WILL TOLERANCE 00?"
PARIS, 26th April. The "Temps" makes a serious charge against the London money market of financing German resistance in the Ruhr, and refers to the continued enormous German goal, purchases in. Britain ,. in spite of the high price and* dear freights. Then came the recent crash in the mark. It was proved that the policy of resistance demanded more imperiously than ever the financial help of the foreien money market. Accordingly, file Reich'sbank decided to increase the gold deposits in London in order to be able to provida security for loans which it roi(?ht be obliged to request. The "Temps," summing up, says: "Germany's whole policy depends entirely upon the English market. How far will British tolerance go?"
