Large quantities o£ Australian butter have according to a cable message received by the Commonwealth Minister for Customs (slr. Chapman), been recently transhipped from London to France, and the average quality is stated to be superior to that of butter imported from Holland and the Argentine. ■"« was further stated that direct shipments from Australia would be welcomed in France.
