PROFESSIONALS' APPRECIATION
The secretary of the New Zealand Golf Council (Mr. G. O. Sutton) has received a letter from Mr. J. A. Clements, secretary of the Professional Golfers' Association, with reference to the tournament for professionals recently held by the New Plymouth Golf Club. In it he says: "The New Plymouth Golf Club treated us very well, and made our stay very pleasant] we cannot speak too highly of the kindly -,way we were received. This tournament has put new life into the play of professionals, and all are satisfied they will improve before the championship meeting."
