Messrs. Abraham auji Williams, Ltd., ani Wright, Stephenson and ,Co , Ltd., report:— Johnsonville sale held on the 18th April. A small yarding of both sheep and cattle was ottered. ■ A good sale resulted, 'beef being up 20s per head on last week's quotation. Sheep sold freely, although good ewes were reasonable enough. Lambs were in keen demand. Quotations: Best ox, £11 ss; others, £0 55, £» 10s. £9 .175 (id. £10 ss, £10 7s lid, to 510 17s (id; vealers, good, £3 6s, £3 7s, £3 93, to £8 103; smaller,, £2 2s, £2 105. to ■£2 18s; wethers, 32s 3d; Best ewes, 24s 9a; -others 23b to 23s Od; lambs, 2*s 3d, 255, to 26s 3d.
