A midle-aged man named Samuel M'Shane, charged with stealing a pair of boot*; the property of James Martin, was remanded until to-morrow to enable him to secure the services of a aoJicitor. Bail was fixed at £10.

H. Cole, at the Petone Court yesterday, before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., wbe ordered to pay 158 towards the maintenance of his wife, P. Cole, who was also granted a separation order.
