AUSTRALASIAN APPLES
ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN.

LONDON, 9th April.
The apple market is easier, as supplies are increasing. The Persia's Tasmanian apples were immature, mostly selling at 9s 6d to ll's per case. The Coxes were badly pitted, and brought Bs. The. Sophocles' Victorian apples were more mature,, selling at 11s to 14s 6d,. and a few at 15s per.case. Some of the Cleopatrae were badly pitted. The Remuera's New Zealand apples were discharging in excellent condition, except the Coxes, which heated, many being worthless.
An advertising propaganda campaign has been commenced in the newspapers, and by large coloured posters on hoardings, saying: "Apples from Tasmania, Australia, and New Zealand are coming as fast as the ships, can bring them. They look good, taste, good, and do good."
