BRITISH ISOLATED
FRENCH SCREEN ROUND ZONE.
PARIS,-9th March.
The French have completed a new advance, including a. screen of troops between the British zone and the rest of Germany, in order to guarantee the Allies against a further drop in marks, and prevent the industrials organising a delay in payments in the hope of depreciation. The French have modified the Ruhr coal tax. The amount which is due will be translated into sound foreign currency values.
