MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT
A party of men had a narrow escape from very serious injury while motoring just north of Stokes Valley, on the main Hiitt road, last Wednesday. The car failed to negotiate a bend 'in the road, and crashed over a steep bank into the river. Seve.-.l of the party were thrown into the river, which was waist-deep, and all were more or less injured, some requiring medical attention. The car was badly damaged.
