TROTTING TRAINER KILLED. <BI TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) , OHRISTCHURCH, 3th March. At Homsby crossing to-night, the West Coast train ran into a motor-car containing Robert M'Millaii, .well known in trotting circles as a trainer, driver, and breeder, and Eugene C. Jl'Dermott, one of the leading lightharness reinsmen in New Zealand. M'Millan whs killed outright, and 11'Dermott suffered shock and severe injuries to his head, but has shown slight improvement since' admission to hospital. The car was badly smashed. Both were married men.
