. Novice Hack Race, of 80 soys; five furlongs.—Martinique, 8.7, 1; Entre Nous, 8.7, 2; Axle, 8.7, 3. Scratched: Password, Jolly Bruce, Liskanar, Fairy Ring. Won by a neck. Time, lmin 3sec. Starborough Trot Handicap, of 100 soys; one mile and a half.—Queen Ida, scr, 1; Victor Hova, 108 yds behind, 2 ; Helen Bingen, 24yds behind, 3. Won by ten lengtfis. Time, 3min 55 4-ssec.
Marlborough Cup, of 300 soys; one mile and a quarter and 150 yards.—Cheer Up, 7.9, 1; Pantler, 7.7, 2; *rim Joke, 7.9, 3.' Won by three lengths and a half, with two lengths between second and third. Cheer up failed to weigh in, and was disqualified. Scratched: Printemps. Time, 2min 17 3-ssec.
Blenheim Hack Welter Handicap, of 125 soys; seven furlongs.—Gluemont, 8.7, 1; Blue Socks, 9.6, 2; Blackhead, 9.6, 3. Won by a short neck. Time, 1 mm 29 l-ssec.
