■ The Marylebone .team has commenced a two days' match against the University. There was fine weather, but.a slow wicket. Marylebone in the first innings made 258 (Chapman 29, Lowry 30, Hill-Wood 84, Hartley 30, Brand 38). University has no wickets down for 55.
