HONORARY JUSTICES
A full meeting of the council of the Honorary Justices' Association was held on Tuesday. Mr. It. ID. Hanlon presided. A deal of correspondei»:e was dealt with, including letters from the Justices' Association in Adelaide, desiring the appointment by the Justice Department of Alderman I,' Isaacs, ex-Lord Mayor of Adelaide, as a Justice of the Peace for tho Dominion of New Zealand. :
The hon. registrar (Mr. I. Salek) presented the annual balance-sheet and report, which was finally adopted.
The.sum of £10 10s-was voted to the Prisoners' /iid Society in recognition of the good work done by the society towards discharged prisoners, and because the association desired .to co-operate with the society in carrying out its humanitarian and regenerative efforts.
