THAT AMENDED RULE!
.. An interesting paragraph in the annual report of the Poneke. Eugby Football Club, presented to the annual meeting last evening, referred to the standard of play of the senior team last season not •being quite up to previous years, and stated that the main reason was the amended rules which were brought into force during the season. "The combination was not quite up to former Beasons," the report added, "perhaps also due to the new methods forced by the new rule."
