NATIONAL MEETING ENTRIES. Entries are coming in freely for ths big meeting of the National Rifle Association .of New Zealand, opening at Trentham on Ist March, and keen contests are assured. Teams from the following well-known clubs are expected to compete in the champion teama match: Auckland City, Akwaua, Gisborne, Napier, Okawa, Dannevirke, Linton, Wanganui, Haw-era, Patea, New Plymouth, Ohura, Te Kuiti, Waihi, Thames, Opaki, Greytown, Te Wharau, Featherston, Karori, Petone, Suburbs, Old Navals, Upper Hutt, Blenheim, Nelson, Sounds, Christchurch, Kaiapoi, Oamaru, Dunedin, and Kiwi. Captain Coombes, of the Sydney Rifle Club, will be a competitor. Major Mabin, entertainment officer of the association, reports that billiard and smoke rooms will be available for competitors and that the pictures will be in opera tion.
