Tho Government steamer Tutanekai was landing stores at the Farewell Spit lighthouse yesterday. She will call at oeher Cook Strait lighthouses en route to Wellington, and is due hern on Saturday. The vessel is to leave Wellington. 911 Wednesday on'her round trip to the southern lighthouses. Tbe Tutanekai will also proceed from Bluff to the outlying islands to search for castaways, and, if necessary, to replenish the provision depots. POET ADELAfDE TO LOAD. The C. and I>. Line ,-nlvises that the Port Adelaide left, Hobart at <s a.m. yesterday for Wellington, where she is due on Monday to commence Homeward loading. The vessel is later to load at Wanganui, Tokomaru Bay, and Napier, and will then return to Wellington, sailing finally from here on the 16th March for London, via Montevideo. ' MESSAGE FROM THE PAPAROA. A wireless message has been received from the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Paparoa. en route from London and Southampton, stating that the vessel expects to arrive at Wellington on Tuesday evening. The message adds, "All well." The Paparoa will disembark her pussengers, ami discharge part cargo here, and will then go on to Auckland to complete discharge. PERSONAL. Captain Sharp is in command of the Canterbury Company's new steamer Gale, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from Lyttelton. Mr. McLuan is chief officer, and Mr. Chamberlain (late of tho Storm) is chief engineer.
