FEILDING EWE FAIR

SRHWRHWARH

FEILDING, 21st February. The annual ewe fair was held here to-day, when 25,000 sheep were permed. The sale proved a dragging one. In very many cases vendors' reserves were not reached, and the pens were consequently passed in. The average prices were : For four and five-year ewes, 22s 3d to 30s; four md six-tooth ewes, 33s to 365; two-tooth ewes, 50s 6d.
