EVERYBODY'S THEATRE.
A bright array of pictures is to be seen at Everybody's Theatre during the screening of the current bill. At the head is "The Ruling Passion," a splendid adaptation of Earl Derr Begger's story, "Idle Hands," which made such a stir when it first appeared. George Arliss, in this delightful comedy-drama., has a part that fits him like a glove. Another star film which almost instantaneously captured public favour is "Big Stakes," a stirring Western com-edy-drama, in which J. B. Warner and Elinor Fair do some of the greatest daredevil riding feats ever seen. Another picture, "High Sifrn," shows that sadfaced comedian, Buster K'eaton, slapSticking his way through the strenuous existence of an innocent victim who runs foul of the deep-laid plots of a gang of blackmailers. The supporting films were all of unusual interest and merit.
