HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
An exceptionally bright vaudeville programme has been arranged for the present week at His Majesty's Theatre. One of the chief performances will be that of Mr. William J. Kelly, the American actor and humorist, who will be remembered for his fine performance in "The Sign on the Door," in which piece he shared the honours with Miss Maud Hannaford. Another artist of note who is to appear this evening for his first time in Wellington is Mr. Charles E. Lawrence, an English entertainer at the piano, and Croydon and Mack, a pair of clever dance, song, and comedy specialists, will also give their initial performance. Walter George and his Sunshine Players will present an entirely new revue entitled "Venice," which is reported to be well up to the standard of its predecessors. A good evening's enjoyment can be relied upon.
