ROTORUA, 10th February. The Rotorua bowling tournament concluded this evening. Fine weather prevailed throughout, and the greens were in good order. In the final, Joll, Meredith, Varney, N. Bell (s), (Hamilton), 23, defeated Bent, Wyatt, Hollows, L. Whittle Parker (s), (Stanley Bay, Auckland), 20. The teams tied in the morning with 19 all on the twenty-first head. Under the rules twenty-one additional heads were played in the afternoon. The game was Dractically replayed. Bell had all the best of the first ten heads, but Parker then improved his position, but finished 3 down. There was brilliant play on both sides.
