HOW DISCOVERY WAS MADE

MELBOURNE, This Day. The police made the discovery of Coughlan's burial-place in the gully as the result of a statement supplied by Frank Bonfiglio, former husband of Hannah Mitchell, alias Bonfiglio, in December last, when in hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, allegedly inflicted by Hannah Mitchell during a. quarrel. They also secured evidence that the body was taken to the gully by Bonfiglio and the three accuged women. They obtained a statement from Mrs. Milward admitting that she assisted in removing the body.
