BUSINESS INTERVENES
TO COUNTERACT POLITICS.

BERLIN, 10th January.
The representatives of the chief industries conferred with Herr Cuno and promised their support. They expressed a readiness to make great sacrifices in order to counteract the French move. It is reported that British, American, Belgian, and ■ possibly French business men will shortly confer with German commercial magnates to discuss the exchange of goods and the development of business relations.
