STRAND THEATRE.
Tha massive exteriors and imposing interiors of Dorincourt Castle, together with the English cottages and lanes, all go to show the wizard' of the cinema art,_ in Mary Pickford's "latest United Artists production "Little Lord Fauntleroy, the principal attraction on the new programme at the Strand Theatre to-day. The characters depicted of Frances Hadgson Burnett are all portrayed and the picture is remarkable for its faithfulness to the book. Mary Pickford takes a dual role; first she plays the little lord, and as "Dearest," the gentle loving' mother, she is perfection. Allan Dwan's comed_y;drama "A Brqkeji Poll," in which Mpnto Blue and Mary Thunnan are featured, is the second picture. The story is. full of charm and drollery and contains no end of fun. Romance, excitement, pathos, and humor are some of the ingredients which are mixed'up in a most skilful The supporting programme is. an interesting and varied,one and includes "A Rambling Romeo," and the latest Pathe Gazette.
