: The Waipa Racing Club'a Meeting ,waa held to-day. Results :—
Pirongia Handicap Hurdles, of 140 soys; one mile and a half.—Raymond, 9.0, 1; Esplanade, 9.2,; 2; Miss Melva, 9.13,3., , All started. Won by two lengths, with three lengths between second and third horses. Time, 2min 48sec.
Kihikihi Handicap, of 125 soys; six furlongs.—Finelli, 7.9, 1; Sir Burnett, 7.8, 2; Connemara, 6.7, 3. Scratched : Queen Abbey and Tresor. Won by three lengths, with the third horse one length behind. Waipa Maiden Plate, of 115 soys; five furlongs ; w.f.a. —Laughing Stock, J. ; Alburnia, 2; Heisler, 3. Thirty started. Won by two and a 'half lengths. Time, lmin ssec. ■
