NOTICE TO AUSTRALIAN SEAMEN.

SYDNEY, This Day. Mr. Justice Powers, of the Federal Court, has.informed the Seamen's Union that it will be given till' Wednesday to disprove that vessels are being held up in • spite of the owners' desire to pay award, rates. The -union must give an undertaking to assist in carrying out the terms of the award. The men must decide either for arbitration or for direct action.
