The campaign in connection •■with th« Eastbourne Carnival Queen contest will be opened on Monday evening by the Football Club's candidate with a performance of "A Pair of Silk Stockings," a comedy in. three acts, staged by Mr. Culford Bell's Thespians. . The play sparkles with wit and humour, is most modern in conception, and provides a delightful evening's entertainment seldom seen in the East Harbour district. Proceeds will bo devoted to the purchase of votes for the Eastbourne Football Club's Queen candidate, „Miss Gladys Eussell.
