QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The new programme at the Queen '• Theatre to-day, will inolnde the latest of all the Stoll film masterpieces, "The Passionate Friends," from the wonderful story by.H., G. Wells. The story i» a dramatic portrayal .of-platonic friendsnip, and the disastrous course it pursues for two people—one an ambitious society beauty and the other a handsome and equally ambitious young politician. The supporting production will be "The Gimgo Devil," an extraordinary story of the great open spaces, which stars the world's greatest horseman, William Steel. The remaining items on the programme include the\latest Topical Budget, Selzneck News,' and ; scenic!, the whole supported by the Queen's Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. A. H. Jerome. The serial, "With Stanley in Africa,"' will be screened during the matinees only. The box plan is at the theatre.
