FESTIVE SEASON IN CUBA STREET

Evidence that the festive season is fast approaching was furnished in Wellington to-day when a. large number of men were engaged in bedecking Cuba street, from the Royal Oak to Abel Smith street, with streamers of lycopodium,^ Christmas posters, and pompoms. The work was being done, under the auspices of the Te Aro Advancement Association. To-morrow night the Miramar Band, twenty strong, will play in Cuba street from 7.15 o'clock onwards.
