AMENDED ITINERARY.

■■'. The late arrival of the Mo^raki has made it necessary for the New^Zealand Lawn Tennis Association to amend the itinerary of the New South : ,Wales ladies' touring t»am. - . '

-Originally; the. programme provided for th» playing of : a..match against. Auckland oh 35th' and 16th December. It has now been arranged that the visitors will leave' Auckland on the morning of 16th December; and proceed to Hamilton, where; thay will; play a series of friendly games' as the guests of the Waikato L.T.A. They wsl leave Hamilton on- Monday,-. 18th' December, and,, will visit Rotorua, Wairakei, 1 and Taupo, and then proceed to Napier and Hastings, arriving at Hastings on 23rd December. After the New Zealand championships and th© Hawkes Bay tournament, the New South Wales ladies will travel dowii to Christchurch, where they .'will take part in an invitation tournament on oth and 6th January. They then return to Wellington, where they will play the New Zealand ladies' representative learn on, 12th and 13th January. The visitors will then go on to Auckland, where they will play the Auckland provincial team on 19th and 20th January. This match will end the official tour.

The object of the rearrangement is to give the visitors as much tournament play as possible bftfore the big match here. The Management Committee of the N.Z.L.T.A. consider that the test match should take precedence over pro; vincial games, and with the two tournaments' arranged for them the visitors "will be afforded an opportunity of ■working into their very best form 'for tfie match against New Zealand.
