MAGISTRATE'S COURT
One first offender Yor drunkenness, who appeared before Mr. F. K. "Hunt, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court to-day, was fined ss, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment, whilo two other similar 'offenders, who did not enter the box, were ordered to forfeit the amount of their bail.
Before Mr. W. A. Worth, J.P., at the Mt. Cook Police Court this morning, William Anderson, who had previously been remanded for medical treatment, was fined £3 for drunkenness,, and ordered to pay medical expenses, 17s 6d. The default waa fixed at seven days' imprisonment,
