Signor Mussolini states that the Italian Minister in Athena did everything possible to avert the execution of the ex-Ministers. Eta approached M. Politis on 4th November. France acted otherwise, and this divergent action provoked the tragic'end of the trial. Signor Mussolini has ordered the Italian representative not to recognise the new Government and reserves the right of recalling him, according to circumstances.
