SHORTT'S THEATRE.

George Ade, the American humorist, wrote the original story of "Our Leading Citizen," the Paramount starring vehicle for Thomas Meigha'n, to be shown at Shortt's Theatre. to-day. It is the story of a young- lawyer who, at the outbreak of the war, enlisted and returns a hero. In France he meets a girl he had admired in his own home-town. On his return he is 'nominated for Congress but refuses to agree to certain corrupt demands. Later ho wins the election, and weds the girl who remains true to herself and to him. The second feature, "A Kiss in Time," is a whimsical story well told' in which Wanda Hawley plays the lead. The supporting films ore excellent.
