HARMONIC SOCIETY.

The final -concert of the. 1922 season of the Wellington Harmonic Society (under the baton of Mr. H. Temple White) is to be held in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, next Saturday at 8 p.m. A feature of the programme will be the rendering of Elgar"s "From the Bavarian Highlands," a group of six choral songs, with accompaniment for piano, by the choir of fifty voices. Other choir numbers will be "O little Snowflake," "O'er the Meadows," "Tho Parting Kiss," and "A Storm Scene." Assisting the society will be Miss Natalina M'Callum (soprano), of Auckland. Mr. and Mas. R. R. Orr will also contribute a number from Rigoletto. The Harmonic Quartette will giv« an item, and a mixed. quartette from the ranks of the society will sing "Love is Meant to Make Us Glad. Mr. Harold Whittle will be at the piano. The plan opens at The Bristol on Monday, next.
