LATE BISHOP NELIGAN

NEW PLYMOUTH, Ist Dec.
Taranaki's appreciation of the services to this diocese of the Right Eeverend Moore Richard Neligan, D.D., Bishop of Auckland, from 1903 to 1910, was expressed in a most impressive memorial service here this morning. Dr. A. W. Averill (Bishop of Auckland) officiated, and in paying a tribute to iho sterling qualities of the late Bishop Neligarij voforred to the difficulties he encountered, in spite of which he did wonderful work.
