EMPRESS THEATRE.
It is very seldom that a'truly great aotor comes to the screen, such as .is the case this week when Mr. Guy Bates Post appears at the Empress Theatre in the "Masquerader," one of the greatest successes of the theatrical world. Surrounded by a production of the very first water, and by a stpjling supporting cast, the dominating feature of the photoplay is Mr. Post's performance of the dual leading roljas of Cbilcote and Loder. Not only the delineation of each character but the conflicts between them are portrayed by Mr. Post in a manner of sympathetic understanding and sparkling technique. The supporting programme includes episode four of "Nan of the North," Empress News film, and" a Ches r ter Outing scenic. The Empress Distinctive Orchestra plays incidental music of particular brilliance. The box plan is at the theatre. ' .
