BOY SCOUT FUND
NEED FOR BETTER ORGANISATION.
At a public meeting held in the Y(M.O.A. on. Saturday evening, in connection with the Boy Scout Fund Campaign, Cojohel <S. F. Campbell presided, arid there was a fair attendance of sooutinastera and others. It -was reported that the campaign was progressing yeiy slowly, and it was required that some more efficient means should be- adopted to speed-up the'work. After some discussion, the following resolution was passed, "That the scoutmasters be requested to call together the parents and mends of the respective Boy Scout troops and place the appeal before them tod ascertain whether they are prepared to assist in carrying through the appeal; and (2) that a,, committee of six be appointed, comprising three scoutmasters and three members of the public to arrange preliminaries in the terms of the first part of the resolution," The following were elected to the committee: Messrs. Hay, Amos, Donkin, Revievs, and Jl'Kenzia, and Mrs. M'Hugh, A meeting of the cub-committee is to be held in Banks College at 7.30 this evening.
