SHANGHAI, 18th November. According to advices received, the Chita Assembly has decided to polish the Far Eastern Republic and hand over the entire territory it comprises to the Moscow Government.

[The Far Eastern Democratic Republic comprised the territory from Lake Baikal to Vladivostok and the island of Sakhalin. The seat of government was at 'Chita. It was reported last month that the Soviet forces had overcome the White army, and had occupied Vladivostok, where they were welcomed by the residents.]
