WATERSIDE CLUB'S CONCERT.

The second annual smoke concert of the Wellington Waterside Football Club was held on Saturday evening in F shed. Mr. Fairclough presided, and, with other speakers, congratulated the club od its performances during the year, the winning of the senior championship, Charity Cup, and fifth-grade championship being considered a very fine performance. Mr. A. 'E. Wells, responding to the toast of the players, claimed that they had proved good sports and an acquisition to football. A concert programme was provided by Messrs. Ormrod, cornet duet; Messrs. Hogg, Fairclough, and Costley, songs. Several toasts were.honoured. Mr. Williams, of the Shamrock Hotel, presented three medals, donated by himself, to the captains of the three teams—D. J. Jones, W. Nichplls, and D. Radcliffe. Several medals and a foot ball were promised by supporters for next season.
