KING'S THEATRE.
A photoplay of tangled sentiment ana strong dramatic situations heads the bill at the King's Theatre. "One Clear Call," to give the picture its title, is from the First • National studios, and stars Henry Walthall. Ah introductory note describes the picture as being without saints or sinners, which is scarcely correct, for one of the central figures is all kinds of a sinner, whose evil deeds create a world of tragedy. The supporting comedy, "Her Nearly Husband," makes, for hearty laughter, and a good gazette shows some excellent pictures of the fighting in Dublin with the rebels at bay in a hotel in Sackville street. There are also included views of the Mountbatten-Ashley wedding, which created so much interest a few weeks ago. The King's Grand Orchestra has been augmented by an excellent trapdrummer, saxophonist, and xylophone player, who renders popular airs, with special lighting effects. Lovers of jazz music, and their numbers are legion, will appreciate this innovation.
