SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS.
Scattered drizzling rain has been reported in the South Islann, and the weather has been cloudy to overcast at times generally, but fair about Cook Strait and on the east coast ot the North Island. The winds have been tioderate to strong and variable, and ilttle change in atmospheric pressure has been recorded since yesterday.
